This Site is dedicated to all those families of the people that have tragically disappeared on flights in and around New Zealand. I only hope that from all the effort in building this site and from all the effort of those taking part in this venture, that it will bear fruit in bringing ‘closure’ to their memories!

On our last trip back out from the site in the boat, we noticed a large white object
that appeared like that of the full length of a 180’s wing lying in a small clearing
about 2/3 of the way up the mountain. Although I’d imagine that it will once again
just be a fallen white trunk of a tree, or a white rock face, I intended to fly past
that area and photograph it just to be sure.
The area shown above outlined in red is about where we saw it.
Unfortunately, once again we were unable to do this as the area was in cloud when
we got off the ground, as shown above. The white streaks and the odd smudgy spots
shown, are water trails, etc., on the aeroplane door windows.
